Verizon recently showcased a line of new 4G wireless devices at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year. The new devices utilize the Verizon’s 4G LTE network and have been developed from Verizon Innovation Centers one of which is in Waltham, MA and the other located in San Francisco, CA. The devices are designed to take advantage of both the 3G and 4G LTE network and offer new innovations both to the individual and the workplace.

Golden-I Wireless Headset
The Kopin Golden-I Wireless Headset utilizes the Verizon 4G LTE network and is a fully featured headset which you can wear on your head while gaining access to your PC. The headset provides a 15-inch display that allows you to view and control more than one device. The Golden-I Wireless Headset is capable of controlling up to six different devices in addition to controlling multiple wireless systems and networks simultaneously.
The headset is designed to offer new possibilities that assist with medical emergencies, public safety, and other types of similar situations. By using the Golden-I Wireless Headset, emergency professionals and other public service personnel can access essential information quickly which helps to speed the process when it comes to providing remedies to a variety of urgent situations.
Satellite Personal Server
Verizon demonstrated the Seagate Satellite Personal Server which prevents you from having to determine what data you need to take with you to the office or on the go. Instead of using a memory device which is limited in storage space, you can travel with the Satellite Personal Server which utilizes Verizon’s 4G LTE network to send and receive data from any location and without the use of hardware and cables.
The Satellite Personal Server fits in your pocket or purse and contains a battery that is rechargeable so you have direct access to your data from anywhere. It is compatible with a wide variety of mobile devices including the iPhone, tablet PCs, Android, as well as windows and Mac PCs. The Satellite Personal Server also is capable of accommodating multiple users simultaneously.
VGo Robotic Telepresence
The VGo Robotic Telepresence is a new unit that operates on the Verizon 4G LTE network and enables you to be in locations where you need to be personally or in the workplace without actually having to physically be there.
The Robotic Telepresence is an elongated device that operates on wheels and can be operated independently by the person from a remote location. The device contains a screen on the top of the unit and allows the person to communicate with others and freely move around as if they were physically present in the location where they need to be.
Robotic Telepresence is designed for many different uses some of which include assisting students with class participation from a remote location or medical personnel who need to communicate with patients from a distance. The device is enabled by VGo which provides visual communications devices and the Verizon 4G LTE network service.
Verizon HomeFusion
HomeFusion is a device which brings high speed broadband to rural areas and other locations where a high speed Internet connection is unavailable. The HomeFusion device provides a gateway device with an antenna that is installed on the roof of your home. The antenna offers Verizon 4G LTE capability for delivering high speed Internet to your home.
The antenna is shaped in the form of a cylinder and contains more than one internal antenna which provides the signal for 4G LTE. The HomeFusion router is capable of accommodating up to four wired devices and up to 20 different wireless devices in your home.
Point-of-Sale Gateway
The Systech Point-of-Sale Gateway operates on Verizon’s 4G LTE network and provides for fast and secure payment processing via your mobile device. The unit provides a gateway that is compatible with PCI compliant networks for increased security. PCI refers to the Payment Card Industry standards which most merchants must meet to ensure that customer payment information is handled in a secure manner.
The Point-of-Sale Gateway is designed to work with a variety of environments which include POS terminals at retail establishments, ATM kiosks, vending machines, mobile health services, and a variety of other purposes. It provides a high speed wireless connection that is secure and convenient for using a broad range of applications.
SlingPlayer
The SlingPlayer is another device that operates on Verizon’s 4G LTE network and is produced by Sling Media. The device allows you to control the television in your home at any time and from any location. The SlingPlayer works in conjunction with your smartphone, tablet PC, laptop, or netbook and allows you to watch your home television and control the functions while you are on the go, in the workplace, or traveling on vacation.
The SlingPlayer system consists of a Slingbox which you install in your home and then you use the SlingPlayer app to control the player on your mobile device. This way you can receive all of the programming that you pay for in one place without having to pay extra fees. The Sling Player also provides you with an unlimited number of options when it comes to choosing programming to watch from anywhere.
Smart Meter and Virtual Peak Plant
The Consert Virtual Peak Plant provides you with a way to reduce energy consumption and save money on your household utilities. The device addresses peak load while allowing the consumer to set and monitor utilities to access energy reserves at more than half of the typical operational costs.
The Consert Virtual Peak Plant utilizes the Verizon 4G LTE network to provide consumers and industries alike with the opportunity to cut back on the costs of operating utilities. It is based on wireless technology that operates in real-time with the ability for consumers to access a Web-based interface for reducing energy consumption.
Comrex Video Broadcast
The Comrex Video Broadcast device eliminates the need for costly microwave and satellite gear which is typically used by television stations and networks. The Video Broadcast device uses LiveShot technology which is compact but packed with features that offer a new type of broadcasting model.
The Comrex Video Broadcast is designed to connect to the battery mount on a professional model camera and then broadcasts live video using Verizon’s 4G LTE network. The device is lightweight and allows you to broadcast live videos from virtually any location. It is also possible to control the Comrex Video Broadcast from a remote location such as your television studio.
