The Network Connection Between Your Computer And The VPN Server Was Interrupted
1) Firewall & Antivirus
With the increasing chances of network breaches and security threats, people have no choice but to download antivirus apps and put on the firewall settings. These factors help protect the computer systems from viruses, malware, and other security threats.
However, firewalls and antivirus apps have become a reason behind error 807 but it can be easily resolved by deleting the antivirus app. In addition to deleting the antivirus app, you should also disable the firewall settings temporarily. Once you make these changes, error 807 will be fixed in no time.
2) Browser History
It’s pretty ironic that VPN is responsible for anonymous browsing but oftentimes, browsing history can cause the error 807. So, when this error occurs with your VPN program, you need to open the Chrome or browser and clear up the browser history as well as cookies.
With Chrome, you can easily clear off browsing history, cache, and cookies from the setting. However, if you are using some other browser, you might have to download special cookies and cache cleaners (there are multiple apps and software programs available for that).
3) Login Credentials
In the majority of cases, error 807 occurs when you are using the paid VPN apps and software solutions. To resolve this issue, you have to verify the password and username of the VPN account and make sure they are correct. In addition to your login credential, you also need to verify the IP address of the VPN to ensure it’s properly working. If any of the fields have incorrect information, make required changes, save the new settings, and the error will be resolved.
4) PPTP
If the correct information is fed into the VPN admin page, you need to check the settings. For this purpose, you should open the client, and once the client page appears, move down to the VPN properties. From the VPN properties, scroll down to the security tan and open the connection type. In this tab, make sure that the connection type is set to PPTP and it will improve the VPN performance.
5) Server Address
We have already talked about checking and verifying the IP address of your VPN service but you need to make some changes to the server address. For this purpose, you should open the VPN settings, move down to the IP address and click on the server address. From the server address, you must remove the “http: //” part and save the changes. Then, just try to use VPN again and see if the problem is resolved.
