PC fans are the best thing that you can get to keep the PC cool. All that processing in your PC generates a lot of heat that would need to be dissipated in order to not only keep the PC running at optimal performance but it will also be the right thing to keep all that equipment safe and you will be able to make all that work for the good performance.
PC fans come in different sizes and there are different types of these fans as well that you can get out there to keep your PC cool and avoiding all those problems that are tagged along with the overheating.
However, a PC fan is not something easy to fix if there is some sort of problem with it because there are numerous hardware factors involved that you will need to check upon. 1) Check Compatibility
The first thing that you will need to know about is that the compatibility matters and you cannot just simply install any PC fan on to any motherboard and expect it to work without any such problems. So, you will obviously need to take care of that and make sure that there are no such issues with the compatibility.
The best way would be to source a fan if you want to upgrade or you are building a PC from the OEM that you are getting your motherboard from as that will be the best thing that you can do to root out any such problems and if the PC fan is compatible with the motherboard, there should be no such problems in getting it spinning on your PC.
2) Clean it off
There is also a possibility especially in the humid atmospheres that your Fan might have some dust or lint accumulated on it and that could jam the wings from spinning. You will need to take off the fan carefully and inspect for any signs of dust or debris on it that might be causing the fan to get stuck.
If you find any dust on it, it would be better to use an air blower to clean it off or alternatively you can simply use a brush and wipe off the dust from your fan. Be careful to not use force on these PC fans as that might damage the wings or motor inside and you might end up with a bad fan that would need a replacement.

So, you will need to ensure that you are plugging the fan in the right port on your motherboard and that it is getting the right power supply as well. You need to consul the manual that comes with your board and that way you will be able to make sure that you are not getting any such errors or the problems with getting the fan spinning.
4) Change the Fan
These fans have motors on them like all the other fans and although they are made up of pretty durable materials, they can build up some problems as well. So, you will need to make sure that you are checking on the fan and all the cables that come with it and you might need to replace the whole thing if it is unable to spin even after trying everything that is mentioned above.
