Vizio TV is one of the best solutions out there that you can opt for, if you are looking for something that is seamless and allows you to not only stream through the internet, but has multiple other input options as well.
You can choose to have the regular Cable TV as input on the Vizio TV to enjoy a traditional TV streaming experience. There are also some other options like DVI, USB, HDMI and more so that you can connect different devices with your Vizio TV and make them run seamlessly.
However, if your Vizio Tv keeps changing the output on its own, that can be a problem, and here are a few things that you will have to check.
Vizio TV Keeps Changing Input
1) Power Cycle
First of all, you need to ensure that there is not something wrong on the software end. There might be some bug on the system that is automatically changing the input source for your Vizio TV. Luckily, this is not much complicated and a simple power cycle should suffice for you to optimally get rid of the problem.
Running a power cycle is pretty easy for the Vizio TV, and you just have to unplug the TV from power cord. After that, you have to keep the power button on your TV pressed for 30 seconds and then plug the TV back in. This should do the trick for you and your TV will not change the source for you.
2)Connections
There is a convenient feature on the Vizio TV that automatically loads the most recently connected input source for the screen. If you are plugging in some USB on the TV with videos on it, the Vizio TV will automatically start playing the video files that are stored on the USB. The same goes for HDMI cables and Vizio TV automatically converts the input source to the latest media.
If you are facing the problem of your TV automatically changing the input source, then there might be some lose connection with your TV on one of the input ports that keeps fluctuating and the TV automatically loads it up. You should be disconnecting all the devices that you have connected with your Vizio TV through these input ports, clean all the ports thoroughly for dust and dirt and then connect them again on the ports. This will most of the times solve the problem for you and you will not have to face this issue again.
3) Check the Remote
Lastly, there can also be the remote that is causing you all this trouble and you will need to check on that as well. There are multiple reasons for your remote to go bad like exposure to excessive heat and humidity.
In order to check that, you need to take out the batteries from your remote and let it sit for a minute or two. If doing that stops the problem for you, you will need to replace the remote and that will help you with solving the input source problem for you.
I have tried all of the above recommended and the inputs keep switching
